Dr. Al Salami is currently an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry  at Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine, MBRU. He is also a member of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK and Ireland. Dr. Al Salami is currently obtaining his ..Ph.D. degree from Queen’s University Belfast, UK. He has been in academia and research since he obtained his D.D.S. degree and has published several articles in scientific journals of international repute. In addition, he published his first book “Oral Health of Children of Incarcerated Mothers at UAE Jail Nurseries” in 2017. Dr. Al Salami is a clinical supervisor at Dubai Dental Hospital since 2018. He is also involved as a volunteer pediatric dentist in the UAE Red Crescent Medical Center since 2015. Dr. Al Salami received multiple awards, including the IADR Hutton award in 2018 and DHCC Excellence Award in 2018. He is a member of the National Institute of Health Specialties (NIHS) Scientific Committees of the Emirati Board for Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Internship programs in UAE.
