Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) is part of the newly established Dubai Academic Health Corporation (DAHC). DAHC seeks to strengthen Dubai as a global leader in health care, medical education, research, and scientific innovation, to enhance the capabilities of Dubai’s healthcare sector. DAHC is managing and operating all Dubai public hospitals, primary healthcare centers, specialized care centers; Dubai Dental Hospital, Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital, MBRU and Al Jalila Foundation.

Al Jalila Foundation facilitates access to research grants and research facilities in a number of disciplines. We also have clinical affiliation agreements in the region with Mediclinic Middle East, Kings Hospital Dubai and Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital where our Faculty practice and our students get their clinical training.

The College of Medicine at MBRU is soliciting applications for positions at all academic ranks in Pathology. Faculty members will be working in an academic and healthcare environment located in the heart of Dubai, a major travel hub with direct flight connections to most major cities.

MBRU offers competitive compensation packages, including tuition fee support for children’s education and air travel tickets for faculty and eligible family members.

Successful candidates for positions in Pathology must hold Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists, or American Board in Pathology; or PhD in a relevant subject; or equivalent.

It is also desirable for successful candidates to have:

• Academic experience either primarily as a medical educator and /or a researcher at a recognized university (at least five years for Associate Professor position and at least 10 years for Full Professor position)
• Significant experience in undergraduate medical education including the design, delivery and organization of good quality teaching and assessments.
• Proven independent research experience and track record in medical education.
