Book Swap event is a great way to share the love of reading, promote literacy and help bring communities together. At this event, you will be able to exchange a book you love for a book someone else loves.
We are currently accepting book donations! Donated books will be available for swapping in MBRU Book Swap event. You can now donate your used or unused books to help us to develop collection for Book Swap event. You are welcome whether you are bringing 1 book to swap, more than 1 book, or NO books! You are welcome to take up to 2 books from the swap.
Guidelines:
All donations will be reviewed by library staff. Please review the guidelines below before donating. Any book that doesn’t meet the guidelines will be returned to the person donating the books or will be discarded at library expense.
We gratefully accept
- New and used books
- Hardcover & paperback novels
- Non-fiction on all topics
- Children’s books
- Classics in excellent condition
- Rare and / or unusual books in good condition
- English and Arabic books, of all age groups
We cannot accept
- Books with major damage such as torn or missing pages, writing, or scribbling
- Professional journals
- Encyclopedias or textbooks
- Computer manuals or magazines
- Condensed books (e.g. Reader’s Digest)
- Religious themed books

- Library Information Desk (During library hours)
- Return Box available in the library 1st floor (After library hours)
