Abstract:
Aesthetic treatment may involve single anterior tooth, all anterior teeth or more comprehensively full mouth restoration. There are important diagnostic aids which should be carried out after throughout examination before starting treatment plan; these procedures are: Direct mock up, Diagnostic wax up and Indirect mock up
The advantages of these procedures are: Understanding patient expectation, give patient opportunity to see final result, obtaining consent from patient before starting treatment and finalize treatment plan before starting any irreversible procedures.

Meet the speaker:
Dr. Haitham Elbishari graduated from the University of Benghazi-Libya in 1999. After spending some time in general practice, he moved to the UK to start postgraduate studies and specialty training.
In December 2007, he completed an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from The University of Manchester. Following this in 2008, he started a PhD and specialty training at the same University. In 2011, after completion of specialty training, he gained the Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MPros RCS Edin). In 2012, he completed a Clinical PhD in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from The University of Manchester.
He is heavily involved in prosthodontic teaching and the supervision of restorative dentistry research projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students at Ajman University. Furthermore, he is also an examiner for implant diploma and membership in Prosthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
In April 2018 he was awarded The Fellowship in Dental surgery without examination from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FDSRCS, Edin). The Fellowship in Dental Surgery is internationally recognized as the highest College award in dentistry.
He is very interested in treating patients with prosthetic needs and complex restorative cases and have provided implants, esthetic treatment, crowns, bridges and complex denture work such as overdentures. View Profile
