Living in Dubai

Our location and multi-cultural environment make Dubai a brilliant place to study. The Emirate has a well-established education system, with our university having a modern infrastructure and a strong culture of innovation. Dubai has developed an opportunity for quality higher education that encourages the building of skills to drive economic growth and development, further helping young people to make choices that will allow them to become future leaders in the industry of their choice.

On Campus

Making new connections has never been easier with the various student lounges and meeting spaces available at MBRU. Conveniently located cafés, recreational rooms, prayer rooms, and convenience stores will make you feel right at home. Our fast and free Wi-Fi is available all over campus so that you can work almost anywhere.

Networking

Throughout the year all our students will also have the opportunity to network with both local and international healthcare professionals, all of who are invited to MBRU to speak on their area of specialty. Not only that, but you can also take the opportunity to travel abroad to attend medical conferences and forums and be part of our Summer Scholars Program.

Student Council

Created to support communications between students and the university, the Student Council provides a platform for students' voices to be heard.

The Student Council plays a vital role in coordinating campus community events and encourages student volunteering opportunities, that will benefit both the student and the wider university while supporting and encouraging student participation in extracurricular activities, which will enhance physical and emotional wellbeing.

Student Clubs

Reach Club

Our Reach Club is about creating opportunities to give back to our community, with no boundaries. Every color, every race, every corner of the world, to "REACH". This club aims to implement the values it holds, on the basis of humanitarian acts and looks to expand with a united team spirit. At REACH, we plan to cover a variety of events regionally and internationally, associating with various other organizations and pupils that share similar goals - to REACH!

Sports Club

Keeping the body and mind synced is the aim of our Sports Club. To become healthier and more competitive versions of yourselves - and have fun whilst you're at it! Our Sports Club includes different sports of interest, holds in-house games, competitions, and aims to grow to be part of larger competitions locally and potentially regionally too.

ATLAS Club

Our Literature and Arts Club focuses on developing and nourishing talent and interests. It includes a collection of sub-sections which are headed up by a student or two - dedicated to aspects of the arts and literature, such as books, movies, drama, and cinematography. Plans for the future include an extension of ATLAS events in such a way that involves networking with other universities and their students.

Language Club

Our Language Club looks to widen our students horizons by allowing you to learn, practice and develop new languages of interest. While expanding the number of languages you know is beneficial in your career, it also plays a role in mind function and growth.

Media Club

The Media Club encompasses a variety of fields include photography and journalism. Here you can pursue alternative hobbies and interest in advocating knowledge via broadcasting it for the public to see, whether this is through imagery or words.

Journal Club

Medical education is an ever-evolving field of interest in our society. The Journal club at MBRU keeps the same standard by delivering the best of contemporary medicine in a student-centered environment. By organizing regular sessions on themes relevant to the research community, we hope to prepare students in mastering key skills in critical appraisal, public speaking and research writing, thereby setting the groundwork for productivity through professionalism. Under the supervision of our research faculty and the core team, literature is reviewed, presented and challenged from various themes of research such as Basic Sciences, Clinical, Psychosocial and Educational research. This allows students from all stages of learning to take this opportunity in being an active member of the Journal club.

Art Club

At Art Club, we strongly believe that every individual has an artist within them, and our goal is to unleash them in various forms of activities, including sketching, painting, calligraphy and so much more. Art does not exist only to entertain, but also to challenge one to think, to provoke, even to disturb, in a constant search for truth. Art therapy helps each individual to express what they're feeling inside through a blank canvas, and it has been scientifically proven to be helpful in terms of reducing stress, and it's a great way to keep your mental health healthy.
