Earning CME / CE credits is as easy to searching for clinical information. Library provides an integrative CME Program to support and influence physicians’ continuing professional development to promote positive patient outcomes. Users can earn credits by researching clinical topics and completing evaluations and quizzes while using the resources below. Register for a free personal account in each of the following resources.
– UpToDate
UpToDate offers CME/CE/CPD credits while searching for and reading the answers at the users own pace and preference, on-the-go or in the office. UpToDate meets the criteria for DHCR CPD Accreditation. Use of UpToDate may be claimed towards continuing professional development (CPD) on the basis of 0.5 CPD credit for each point of care learning cycle completed including a reflective record. UpToDate is only available to MBRU students, faculty and staff.
– ClinicalKey
ClinicalKey offers the Internet Point of Care CME credit for self-directed, online learning. The CME credits are provided by the Elsevier Office of CME which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
Users can earn 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit for each search conducted through ClinicalKey.

– Nursing Reference Center
Nursing Reference Center offers over 1,300 Continuing Education Modules, which allow nurses to earn CEU’s.

CINAHL CE modules are interactive educational modules that allow nurses, social work, and allied health professionals to satisfy CE requirements online. They contain the latest topics on patient care and drug administration. Each CE module consists of course material, an interactive review, and a competency test with a certificate of completion.
