MBRU celebrates togetherness with tree planting and cultural activities
Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) demonstrated its commitment to the Year of Tolerance with a special Global Day for MBRU family which included the planting of a traditional Al Ghaf tree and a range of cultural activities at the university’s campus in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC).
Running under the tagline ‘Celebrating Our togetherness’ the MBRU Global Day featured various live music, dance and cultural displays from performers, including MBRU students, representing UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Kenya, Sudan, Egypt, France, Italy and India.
Dr Amer Ahmad Sharif Vice Chancellor of MBRU is joining colleagues and students from MBRU to plant Al Ghaf tree.
MBRU family welcomed Bana and Reem, the first children receiving kidney transplants in Dubai, to join the MBRU’s activities in celebration of the Year of Tolerance.
