MBRU Alumni, Dr. Wafa Jaber Al Rahma, had her thesis, “Performance of Hawley-type retainers: a systematic review of randomized clinical trial”, published in an internationally recognized peer reviewed indexed journal.

Dr. Wafa Jaber Al Rahma, Orthodontic Specialist at the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and recent graduate from the Master of Science in Orthodontics Program at Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine (HBMCDM), had her thesis published at the European Journal of Orthodontics, jointly with her supervisors, Professor Athanasios Athanasiou and Dr. Eleftherios G. Kaklamanos, as co-authors.

The European Journal of Orthodontics is in the top 10% of dentistry journals based on Scopus, which makes Dr. Wafa the first Resident at HBMCDM to publish in an Impact Factor journal.
